DESCRIPTION
Introducing this Chinese Low Altar Table/Cabinet, a piece dating back to the 1800s. Crafted from solid wood and lovingly polished with layers of red lacquer by skilled craftsmen, this table boasts a curved carved apron in the front. Two drawers with metal pulls are provided for storage. Originally used in houses of the nobility or monasteries, it served as both an altar and a place to keep essential books and scriptures.
