This bureau, which dates to the early 1900s and originates in Italy, has been built by traditional artisans. Crafted in wood, it has fold-down top, and has two drawers inside that are provided with brass knobs. The beautiful marquetry of flowers that covers the whole surface is what really draws the eye in. The desk's curved skirting, which descends elegantly to cabriole legs and sabre feet, sets it apart. Subtle yet elegant touches are added by the brass lining that runs down the sides from the upper casing to the legs.
